Charles de Gaulle, le Parisien, n’est-il pas né à Lille, rue Princesse, chez ses grands-parents Maillot, auxquels il rendit de fréquentes visites durant son enfance ? N’a-t-il pas fréquenté, avant d’entrer à Saint-Cyr, un établissement jésuite d’Antoing, dans le Hainaut ? N’a-t-il pas, en août 1914, été blessé à Dinant ?
